Macaw
Charlie, our female Macaw, is looking for a new home. She is 9 years old, and has been inside her whole life. Free flys, friendly, talks and loves cuddles( with a selective few) it is with much sadness but we feel she is not getting the attention she deserves. All children have moved out and with us getting older and ongoing commitments, she needs a home preferably with other birds for company. She is used to cats and dogs. Has been feather picking more lately with us not being home and we hate to see her lonely. She is otherwise in great health, eats Vetafarm pellets, nuts, vegetables and fruit daily. Favourite thing in the world is jam toast! Wanted her to go to a larger sanctuary but the few I’ve contacted aren’t taking any more birds atm. I can ship to any location too if you’re far.
