Ships Bell MV PAGET TRADER Bronze Maritime Artifact

$2,500
East Islip, NY

Very special Ships Bell M.V. Paget Trader.
It appears based on some rather extensive research this bell was from the vessel called M.V, PAGET TRADER. Based on what I could find the vessel was originally a steam powered Liberty Ship built in 1943 named SAMARINA used to bring military supplies and equipment to Great Britan in support of WWII. After the war she was sold into private service as the M.V. PAGET TRADER. Apparently, the vessel was destroyed by fire on November 2, 1965 and scrapped in 1966. All of this information is based on what I can find on the internet. I have no official documentation other than this research to validate the authenticity of this bell. However, it is obviously a finely constructed bronze ship bell.

This fine vintage Ships Bell is very heavy. The bell measures 8" tall(without headstock) and is 10" wide at the base. The bronze is quite thick. This bell has a fabulous strong beautiful loud tone., If you are a bell collector you know tone and volume are the hallmarks of a great bell. This bell includes a mahogany frame stand that supports this fabulous bell.

So here is a unique special opportunity to acquire a great piece of nautical maritime history. This bell will be a proud standout in any setting. This is a true one of a kind piece that will be around for many generations. A special bell like this rarely comes into the market so do not miss it.

The photos do not do this incredible piece justice. It is very impressive.

Perfect for a restaurant, fish market, fine home, marina yacht club, tavern, bar, pub, boat house, pool cabana, tiki bar, museum or any place where it can be appreciated.
