Markings: Hobé - This marking indicates the bracelet was made from 1903 to 1917.
Hobé Cie was founded in Paris in 1887 by goldsmith Jacques Hobé. One of the first assignments was to make costumes and jewelry for the "Ziegfeld Follies." By the 1940s and ’50s, Hollywood stars such as Bette Davis, Carole Lombard, Barbara Stanwyck, and Ava Gardner were wearing Hobé.
