Two slightly different newell posts from a very old home in Eastern North Carolina. Pine, possible pitch pine. Painted, and the larger one has some cracks which are not structural but are visible. Both are from the center of very old logs. They still have some square nails that connected them in place before they were removed.
The smaller one is 45" tall and 5 7/8" square at the bottom with a notch that is 5 3/4" deep at the bottom, part of the overall 45" height.
The larger one is 48" tall and 8" square at the bottom, no notch. It is very heavy!
$200 each or $350 if you want both. Sold as is and you must pick them up.
