ALADDIN FLOOR LAMP WITH PARCHMENT WHIP-O-LITE SHADE
one of kind Aladdin floor lamp and still all Aladdin one way or another. The stand and base was originally sold as a 1254 or 1255 just depending which color you wanted. The Mantle Lamp Company of America was the original maker of the stand and base and this base number is 461. Then in 1908 I believe is when Victor S. Johnson got involved and it all went to Aladdin Lamp Company. Now the font, I can’t tell you if its original or not but it has been repaired, there has been a penny, yes a penny soldered into the center of the bottom. I checked for leaks and they did a great job, no leaks. When I looked at the burner there was just no way it was going to be usable so I replaced it with a model 23. There was no chimney or shade ring---spring but there was a shade. The shade has a 14 FITTER and is ALADDIN PAPER/PARCHMENT PARVELOUR WHIP-O-LITE SHADE
