BEAUTIFUL 3 PC. VICTORIAN BEDROOM SUITE
Offering this beautiful Victorian Bedroom Suite. This set was purchased new by my Great Grandparents, living in Mercer County, Ohio-later moved to Miami County, Ohio.
This set is solid Walnut/burled. With dove tailed drawers. There are no loose joints anywhere in this set. It is over 150 yrs. old-but has been VERY well taken care of! The bed is full size; very sturdy, no wobbles. Slats included (I had "extenders added" to ease the making of the bed) these in no way will detract from originality, they can't be seen; and they can be taken off if desired. Mattress and box spring is not included/for pictures only!
The wash stand is a 3 drawer, with candle stand. Has rollers on bottom. Fruit and Nut hand carved pulls.
The dresser has 3 drawers, with 2 side glove/hankie drawers. The mirror swivels and is in excellent condition. A bit of fog & a tiny bit of speckling. Not noticeable unless you are up close. Marble inlay on front/top. Fruit & Nut hand carved pulls.
The bed and dresser/mirror comes apart very easily for moving, has original screws.
This set would be perfect for a bed & breakfast or in a "period" type home. It is very sturdy and will last another 150 yrs.
