An Annotated Bibliography of Books and Booklets on American Hunting and Fishing 1800 – 1970. Eugene Perry Alldredge (1875-1953) was a preacher in Kosse, Groesbeck, and Mexia. He graduated from Baylor University in 1900 and became a preacher in Waco. In 1907 he was sent out to New Mexico to die, being a victim of three serious ailments, any one of which could have proved fatal. Six and a half years he remained living out of doors, observing and hunting the wild life of that section. The stories which follow grew out of some of the unforgettable experiences which came to him in that semi-desert wonderland of the West. This is paraphrased from the foreword. You can find a copy of this book for $20/$30 but not a signed one.
