Beautiful Antique Four Poster Canopy Bed

Outstanding Eye-catching posts, headboard, canopy and attached brass swing lamps. All four bed posts with original iron inserts and brass casters Also, brass sleeves at top and bottom ends of posts. Solid heavy one-piece turned posts measuring 7’ 5” high. Overall height of the bed measures an impressive 7’ 8” with casters and canopy rail. Side bed rails are very heavy solid beams measuring approximately 4 ¾” by 4 ¾” by 6’ long.
This beauty dates back to the 1850s and is made of desirable cherry wood. Originated from Alabama owned by a physician. The bed is in original unrestored condition showing patina and old age.
