Antique Framed Portrait of a Young Man

As shown, it is in good condition for its age and under glass. It is a two-piece frame (joined together with nails) with a partially hand-carved floral motif, and the portrait's subject is unknown. We are unable to tell if it is a manually touched-up ambrotype/ daguerreotype photo or an artist-rendered portrait.
