Beatles sericel prototype from the episode "BOYS"

This is the prototype for a Beatles cartoon cel produced by the DenniLu Company in the mid-2000s. Jon Blosdale is licensed by Apple to create cels from the animated series and Yellow Submarine. When Jon created a cel, he would make two samples (prototypes) that are done on Lucite using vinyl. He would cut out and stick the vinyl on the Lucite before hand painting the prototypes. One he kept, in the other he sent to Apple for approval. This was his copy, so except for the one sent to Apple, it is the only one like it in the world.
I had it custom framed, and it displays beautifully. A perfect and unique Christmas gift for that special Beatles fan.
